All age Albertans can access our services. We can provide services to multiple house hold patients, however, we will have to bill each patient as a separate home visit.

Yes. Our team can collaborate with your physician and provide coverage for your physician when she/he is away.

Yes. Our team can be your most responsible provider (MRP) until you are able to find a new family physician who is accepting new patients.

Nurse practitioners in Alberta are not legally allowed to bill Alberta Health for the services provided through our corporation in the same manner as what the physicians do. Thus, we will be paid by an hourly wage.

Our fees can be reimbursed through all health insurances or employees’ health spending accounts under the designation Registered Nursing Services. Our fees are GST exempt and tax deductible.

We accept cash, cheque, most credit cards, and Interact e-transfers. Please call the above phone number for details about our fees.

Additional fees may apply for medical supplies used based on patients’ needs.

Our nurse practitioner team has access to Alberta Netcare portal for all tests and diagnostic results follow ups. These results will be shared with all patients for planning the care needed.

AB Nurse Practitioner Healthservices strive to control the use of narcotics except when it is absolutely needed for chronic pain management and palliative end of life care. For our team to provide any narcotic prescription, all patients will need to sign “Sample Patient Agreement for Opioid Therapy” with AB Nurse Practitioner Healthservices to guide patients’ use of narcotic medication.

Our team provides all the services outlines in a timely manner. We don’t provide emergent care. For any medical emergency, please call 911 to be directed to the nearest hospital
